Edward L. Merchand |

Edward L. Merchand is Senior Vice-President
and Chief Financial Officer of Mackenzie Financial Corporation. His
current areas of responsibility include corporate accounting, financial
reporting, taxation, business planning and purchasing. Ed joined
M.R.S. Trust in 1992 as Vice-President, Finance and in 1998 he moved
to Mackenzie’s finance department. He assumed his current position
in June 2002.
Ed graduated from Carleton University in 1987 with a Bachelor
of Commerce and then joined the public accounting firm Coopers & Lybrand
where he qualified as a Chartered Accountant. |
